f, the blizzard. At the end of the october 2007, a seawall was constructed and paid for by.
The new wall was built on top of the old seawall and provides a continuous and stable base for the new construction, protecting the base of the property from the open ocean. When the clifftops are examined from the ocean, they are very rocky and fissured. The seawall was built on top of a 7 to 10 inch (18 to 25 cm) layer of loose rock debris. The seawall will provide stability and a solid base for the new construction.
This site has been logged for 13 years, removing the overgrowth from 8 to 10 feet (2.5 to 3 m) from the top of the cliff edge. Most of the overgrowth consisted of sea lavender, while others were English ivy, horsetail, sea grass, moss and vines. This structure will prevent the overgrowth and erosion from affecting the new construction.
The property is located 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the Atlantic Ocean. The shore is shallow and the bay is 9 to 14 feet (3 to 4.3 m) deep with minor waves.
The new construction will be similar to the current seawall and will be 3 to 5 feet (0.9 to 1.5 m) high.
There is a foot path at the base of the bluff. This path can be used by the new construction workers. The site has no facilities for the storage of building materials.
The design of the seawall is similar to the current seawall and consists of 5 reinforced concrete boxes. Each box has a 4 foot (1.2 m) base and is 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) wide and 30 inches (76 cm) high. Each box is separated from the next box with a 2 foot (60 cm) strip of sand with 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm) of rock in the center. The boxes will be approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) deep.
There are 4 weather stations on the site, 2 on the property and 2 at the County building.
Site is adjacent to Mecherle Beach, the remainder of the Mecherle Beach is currently protected by the commonwealth's Department of Conservation and Recreation.Ureteral segment preservation in bladder exstrophy-epispadias complex using the synchronous technique.
